But more and more people are also being cancelled. Shane Dawson, Marilyn Manson, J.K. Rowling: in most Twitter users' eyes, all of these people no longer deserve attention on their platforms. But does so-called “cancel culture” have an effect on their offline lives? That’s debatable. Being cancelled is not the end of the world.
